Online therapy in Colorado & New York

Online therapy for anxiety, trauma, and relationship healing.

Experience transformation at home or on the go

If you prefer to skip the commute or avoid the hassle of rearranging your schedule, then my online therapy services may be an ideal option for you. All my therapy services are available virtually.

Teletherapy is a flexible format that allows clients in Colorado and New York to pursue healing from the comfort of their own space. Rest assured, virtual therapy has proven to be just as meaningful and effective as in-person counseling, and my trauma-informed approach remains consistent, regardless of whether we meet in-person or virtually. However we meet, when we do connect, we will slow down, regulate your nervous system, and work toward the internal shifts you’re seeking.

About online therapy

Online therapy works just like in-person therapy, only instead of meeting in-person, we’ll meet via a HIPAA-compliant platform. As long as you have a stable internet connection and a device with video conferencing features, you can receive the same quality service and personalized support as you would in an in-person session.

Virtual therapy may be an ideal fit if you:

  • Prefer the privacy of your own space
  • Have a demanding schedule or travel frequently
  • Feel more comfortable processing trauma or relational challenges at home
  • Want access to specialized, trauma-informed care without the commute

If you’ve never done virtual therapy before, now is a great time to try it. So many of my clients have been surprised at how connected and attuned our online sessions can feel. Therapy with me is always grounded and collaborative, and whether we meet in-person or online, our time together will be deeply engaging and rewarding.

How online therapy works

Virtual counseling sessions are hosted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.

An online therapy session may include:

  • DBT-based psychotherapy
Exploring current triggers and relational dynamics
  • Nervous system education and emotional regulation
  • Somatic awareness and body-based processing
  • IFS-informed parts work
  • EMDR (when clinically appropriate and once stability is established)
  • Practical integration strategies for real-life application

Online therapy is not “lighter” or less effective, and the work we do together will be just as comprehensive as it would be if we were meeting in-person. Virtual counseling is simply just an adapted format that’s designed to meet you where you are.

What you’ll need

To ensure we’re set up for success, there are a few logistics to consider. Here’s what we need to have in place for things to run smoothly:

A black background with the number "01" in faint, dark gray font in the top left corner, creating a minimalist and understated appearance.

Find a quiet, completely private setting where you will not be interrupted.

Confirm your internet connection is stable and reliable.

You’ll need a device with working video and audio. (In case needed, it’s a good idea to have a charging source nearby.)

Be sure there is sufficient lighting. Please, no shadows.
